Breeding for Elite Fleece we all know is a great challenge, breeding an animal already displaying Elite qualification is just that much more difficult. Enter Stellar Prospect. Blending two of the most influential Alpaca Sires ever, Bueno & Hemingway has produced undeniable lasting finess in their progeny and we believe this characteristic must be indelibly stamped on this young male. Given the high quality females in his storied pedigree, NWA, LTD Marcie, PPPeruvian Dorsett, PPPeruvian Salutation, and PPeruvian Macarena; Prospect has enormous potential to become a prepotent sire in his own right.

Rarely do you see a pedigree of this quality with each animal contributing to the goal for which that animal was bred. Prospect shows every promise of being what he was bred to be; a prepotent sire of long lasting fineness, the future of our industry.

Proudly Co-owned with Sixth Day's Farm, Stellar Prospect is currently residing at StoneGate and we will begin using him to breed into our program this spring & summer of 2011.

Note: Stellar Prospect suffered injury before StoneGate acquired him and ended a potential show career. While disheartning to not be able to display this extraordinary young male we were so impressed by him and the potential of his progeny that we couldn't wait to partner with Sixth Day Farm and get him on the ground in Vermont and working. At StoneGate we are convinced the wait will be more than worth it.
