The "herdsire page" has replaced the "alpacas for sale" page on this
web site because many of these stud males are a reflection of the very
high quality of breeding programs across the region. As Judge Mike
Safley said at the New England Coastal Classic Alpaca
Show, "You can get in your truck and drive all over this country and
not find a better alpaca than right here (in New England)".
Additionally, NEAOBA felt it would be easier to keep this section
current and up to date. Whereas alpacas for sale may change season to
season, these herdsires will work to improve the New England herd over
many years. NEAOBA members may list their herdsires on these pages,
however please note that NEAOBA takes no responsibility for claims made
by individuals farms regarding their studs.
